The MAP View is a powerful way to visualize a large group of units, and view detailed specifications associated with each unit including creating a Streetscape on the screen.


Whenever you are viewing a 'Unit Summary' inside of an ACTIVITY such as Architectural Approvals - you can choose a LIST view or a MAP view.  The List view will always provide you with a complete list of all the real estate Inventory you have permission to view, however the Map view is only available for projects that have a map. Additionally, the Map View can only be seen after you've selected a specific 'Phase' or grouping.   


Once you've access the Map View you can click directly on any unit to see related information.  While preparing or processing an Approval Request of any kind the MAP View can be very helpful to see a large information set. For example: For Architectural Approvals you can view adjacent building plans and whether or not they conflict with your unit and its corresponding materials, colours or other standards.


Premium & Enterprise Users may have additional features including full-screen, map search and custom data fields.



Opening the Map View in your Unit Inventory: 


    1.    Under any ACTIVITY select the Unit Inventory (Example: Approvals > Architectural Approvals > Launch Inventory Listing). At the top of the list, click on the arrow to Expand the Map view. You can also set a default Map View (whenever available) in My Settings > Landing Page.



      2.    Isolate for the phase you wish to view by using pull-down filters above the lot list.  After you have isolated the list up to a specific phase click on Go.

      3.    The lots on the map are colour coded to reflect their current status, quickly see which homes have had approvals completed. Click on any lots you wish to view details. 


      4.    After click on a Unit, a window will pop-up. Unit information that may include status, specifications, images, materials or even colours may. For use in Architectural Approvals - you can quickly see whether the building you are requesting had enough variation to that around it.
