There are a few types of Final Inspections that can be done on a lot depending on the developer and community you are building in. Each community has different requirements for their Inspections, the process can be found in the Architectural Guidelines for the community.
The Architectural Inspections process can be different from one Community to the next, based on a unique set of requirements for each. In certain circumstances, the Developer of the Community requires live inspections to be conducted at the location of the home, and in other circumstances, the Developer of the Community accepts photo inspections. Certain developers also require Landscape Inspections be done, either on-site or by photo Inspection.
An Architectural Inspection is done post build to confirm that the home was built in compliance with the architectural approval the builder submitted prior. A builder may be required to fix certain aspects of their house if it is not in compliance with the guidelines before they can get their deposit back.
